Strong, durable with a stylish but simple design
As an Ashtanga teacher I was unable to find a bag that stood up to the rigours of everday use (other bags seemed to disintigrate after a couple of months). I realised that there was a need for a strong bag that also had room for other items, such as small towels, shampoo, wallet etc. I was lucky to find a small but very well organised manufacturer in India who was able to produce the perfect mat bag. The craftspeople who make the bag work in excellent conditions and take a real pride over their work. I have had excellent feedback about the bag from my students and e-bay customers around the world. I have used my own bag for the last 18 months and it still looks great.
The bag has been specially designed to accommodate both standard mats and the larger, heavier mats used in ashtanga, power and other dynamic forms of yoga. This is a heavy duty canvas bag that is built to last. There is a roomy side pocket for valuables. The bag is large enough for a thick mat and a small towel, shower gel, keys, wallet etc. The cost of the bag is excellent considering the quality of the item.
